November 25, 2025

November heralds the opening of the "high season" for international travelers coming to Belize, and it's easy to see why. Long, sunny days with plenty of delicious warmth combined with pleasantly cool evenings make November a superb time to visit this magnificent country.

There aren't any seasons, per se, in Belize, just two different periods of differing rainfall. November is a transition month where precipitation levels begin to drop and temperatures begin to warm slightly. The average daytime temperature in Belize in November is 82° F (27° C). Nighttime temperatures average around 73° F (23° C). And while there are some fluctuations in temperature, don't expect too much variety even at the highest elevations. Precipitation levels are slightly higher along the coast and lower on the eastern edge of the Maya Mountains, and nights can be somewhat cooler (although rarely lower than 68°F/20°C) even at the highest elevations.

Based on historical data, November mornings in Belize begin around 72° or 73° F (23°C) with gentle warming throughout the day until a maximum of around 83° F (28° C) is achieved in the afternoon. Coastal breezes, especially at nighttime, are delightfully refreshing as they help keep humidity levels at bay. Rainfall is quite low in November, but the precipitation that does fall almost always occurs in the overnight hours, usually wrapping up before 9:00 a.m. Based on historical data, only 2.4 percent of November days in Belize experience any rain at all, making November one of the driest months of the year.

The long, sunny days and clear skies make November a great time to enjoy outdoor activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, birdwatching, horseback riding, fishing, and sailing. And it's also now easier and more affordable to get to Belize in November thanks to increased competition by airlines. WestJet will start offering direct flights from Canada to Belize in November and five airlines in the United States also fly non-stop to Belize: American, Delta, Southwest, Sun Country Airlines, and United.

If you're interested in a fabulous November vacation in Belize, be sure to stay at Cahal Pech Village Resort. Located in beautiful San Ignacio, the eco-capital of Belize, Cahal Pech features a gourmet restaurant, a fully stocked bar, three swimming pools, and lovely thatched roof cabanas.
