In a recent release by the famous travel website TripAdvisor, the small town of San Ignacio in Belize's western Cayo District was listed as a Top 10 Destination in Central America. Coming in at number seven on the list, TripAdvisor extols the capital of Cayo District as a great base for "budget-friendly adventure travel," giving the town high marks thanks to positive feedback garnered from thousands of comments and ratings from the TripAdvisor community.
