For Canadian travelers dreaming of warm weather, rich culture, and breathtaking views, getting to Belize and Cahal Pech Village Resort has never been easier. Thanks to expanded seasonal flights from WestJet and Air Canada, the 2025–2026 winter season promises smoother, more frequent connections from Toronto, Calgary, and Montreal, making your journey to paradise as effortless as it is exciting.
The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) recently confirmed that WestJet will start its seasonal service to Belize on October 30, 2025, earlier than ever before, and extend operations through May 10, 2026. The addition of Monday flights during peak season boosts seat capacity by 45% compared to last year, giving you more flexibility when planning your trip.

From Calgary, WestJet will begin with twice-weekly flights from October 30 to December 14, 2025, increasing to three flights weekly (Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) from December 15, 2025, to April 12, 2026. The service scales back to twice weekly until April 26, then once weekly until May 3. From Toronto, flights start twice weekly until November 9, rise to three weekly until December 14, and peak at four weekly flights (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) during the high season. Service then tapers off in April and May.
Air Canada is also introducing a game-changing connection: a Montreal to Belize City route launching December 8, 2025. This service runs twice weekly until March 2, 2026, resumes from March 9 to April 6, and features evening departures from Montreal at 5:45 PM, arriving in Belize City by 9:05 PM. Air Canada’s Toronto to Belize City route will also operate select dates in March and April 2026.

For guests at Cahal Pech Village Resort, these improved connections mean you can leave the snow behind in the morning and find yourself sipping a cool drink on our terrace by nightfall. Located high above San Ignacio Town, Cahal Pech offers panoramic views of the Belize River Valley and the Maya Mountains, all from the comfort of our hillside accommodations.
Your trip doesn’t stop at stunning views; staying at Cahal Pech means immersing yourself in Belize’s history and culture. The ancient Cahal Pech Maya Ruin is just steps from your room, offering a rare opportunity to explore Belize’s past without even traveling far. For adventure seekers, the resort can arrange tours to the ATM Cave, Xunantunich, Caracol, and even cross-border trips to Tikal in Guatemala.

The expanded Canadian flights make shorter stays, long weekends, and extended winter vacations more doable than ever before. Flexible arrival and departure days mean you can tailor your Belize itinerary around your schedule, whether you want to combine Cahal Pech with time on Belize’s islands or focus solely on the vibrant Cayo District.
Minister of Tourism Anthony Mahler summed up the excitement perfectly: “With more frequency and more seats, Belize is becoming even more accessible for winter getaways and extended stays.”
This winter, skip the cold and choose adventure, culture, and relaxation at Cahal Pech Village Resort. With more flights from Canada, your Belize dream vacation is just a few clicks away. Book now and make 2025-2026 the year you experience Belize at its very best.
