Tiffany Trump zip lining in Belize
Belize is fast becoming one of the top vacation destinations for celebrities. Whether it is legendary sports stars like Tiger Woods and Lennox Lewis or Hollywood A-list stars like Charlize Theron, Harrison Ford, and Jack Black, more and more celebrities are choosing to visit Belize. Oscar winners Leonardo DiCaprio and Francis Ford Coppola were so impressed by what they saw in Belize that they have since invested in world-class resorts so that they can spend more time in the country.
The complete list of celebrities who have been spotted vacationing in Belize would be quite long indeed, ranging from Olympic gold medal athletes like Simone Biles to members of the British royal family like Prince Harry. Whether it's the balmy temperatures, abundant sunshine, friendly locals, or simply the amazing range of exciting adventure options available in the country, Belize is definitely becoming a popular getaway for celebrities.
Just this week, Tiffany Trump, daughter of American President Donald Trump, was in Belize enjoying a thrilling nature adventure in Belize's Cayo District. Tiffany's social media feeds revealed her and her long-time boyfriend Ross Mechanic sailing through the treetops on a zip line, rappelling down a cliff into a cave, and enjoying the gorgeous views at the Mountain Pine Forest Reserve. Tiffany's not even the first Trump to visit Belize. Two years ago, a then-pregnant Ivanka Trump along with her husband and children visited Belize to partake in a sun-splashed adventure far from the prying eyes of the press.
The premiere spot for visiting celebrities is San Ignacio in Belize's western Cayo District. A natural wonderland of vast forests, majestic waterfalls, and pristine rivers, Cayo District served as the backdrop for a recent episode of BBC America's Show Wild Things starring Dominic Monaghan. Best known for his role as the Hobbit in the blockbuster Lord of the Rings trilogy films, Monaghan went to San Ignacio as part of his explorations across the globe to capture beautiful and interesting animals on film.
Cahal Pech Village Resort is located just minutes from San Ignacio town with a gorgeous view of the Belize River Valley. The resort features thatched roof accommodations complete with a full range of modern amenities, including air conditioning and wireless internet. The resort has its own gourmet restaurant, swimming pool, bar, and also offers professional spa services.
Cahal Pech Resort is conveniently close to all of the top attractions in the area, including ancient Maya sites, nature tours in Cayo District, and even the UNESCO World Heritage site of Tikal just across the border in Guatemala.
