Cahal Pech Village Resort has announced that April is a great month for adventure, and as a result, it is offering special adventure packages and tours to travelers who will be visiting Belize in April.
Excursions to ancient Mayan ruins and sacred caves, hiking and bird watching in the rainforest, and canoeing the beautiful Macal River are just a few of the intrepid tours that the resort is offering.
“Our Belize Mayan ruin tours will take you to the most popular Mayan sites in Belize such as Xunantunich, Cahal Pech, Caracol, El Pilar, and even Tikal in Guatemala,” said Lloyd Alvarez, the Reservations Manager at Cahal Pech Resort.
Alvarez says that “cave tours have become very popular with tourists and that the highly rated cave tours to do in the region include Actun Tunichil Muknal, Barton Creek Cave, Che Chem Ha Cave and Caves Branch.”
April is one of the driest months in Belize with an average temperature of 85° making it easy and accessible for travelers to explore the different nature reserves and parks, Mayan sites, and ceremonial caves. April is also a perfect month to swim and snorkel with whale sharks at Gladden Spit Marine Reserve off the coast of Placencia in southern Belize.
"After exploring the rain-forest and Mayan ruins and all the spectacular things that inland Belize offers, we can also arrange tours such as snorkeling, fishing, and scuba diving with whale sharks for our travelers," added Lloyd.
"Visit a butterfly farm, enjoy bird watching, or view amazing flora at the Belize Botanic Garden. Belize’s exhilarating zip-lining adventure will take you through a magnificent tropical forest. Horse-back riding is also available or visit Belize’s highly acclaimed zoo. It’s all waiting for you in fabulous Belize!"
Belize is a short flight away from several cities in the United States and Southwest Airlines has recently added Belize City to their flight schedule which has reduced airfare cost to Belize.
Cahal Pech Village Resort is welcoming guests to experience the myriad of adventure tours that the country offers in April. Located in San Ignacio in the Cayo District, Cahal Pech is the district’s largest resort and is conveniently located near all the top attractions in western Belize.
