Coronavirus (COVID-19) UPDATED Deposit & Cancellation Policies
The Management of Cahal Pech Village Resort has modified its Deposit and Cancellation Policies amidst the COVID-19 pandemic as follows:
Deposit and Cancellation Policies
- A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking with full payment due 30 days prior to arrival.
- For any guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with prepaid rates, Cahal Pech Village Resort will allow full changes or cancellation without a charge up as long as the change or cancellation is made by December 31, 2020. Refunds will be given only as a RESORT CREDIT, which is valid for future travel up to five years from the original price.
- For guests making new reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates, between today and December 31st, 2020, we will allow the reservation to be changed or canceled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival date. Refunds will also be given as a RESORT CREDIT, which is valid for future travel up to five years from the original price.
- * Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences. We also encourage our guests to purchase Travel Insurance to provide them with security and protection against unexpected events that could disrupt your Belize vacation plans.
Disclaimer:
If you still have some unused portion of your Resort Credit when you check out, it is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash, so it’s best to use up the entire portion of the Resort Credit while you are staying at Cahal Pech Village Resort. You can’t save it for next time or give it to a friend.
This deposit and cancellation policy does not apply to Belizeans specials.
Note:
Junior Suites/Deluxe Cabañas/Family Cabaña and Suites can accommodate 4 to 6 persons respectively.

Breakfast: US$9.00
Lunch: US$11.00 * Boxed Lunch $9.00Us per person
Dinner: US$15.00
Rates are subject to 12.5% GST
Lunch & Dinner: Kids 5-9 years old are half price
Kids 10 years old and over are full price on meals

10% Service Charge
At Cahal Pech Village Resort a 10% service charge is applied to the rate of the room used. We do this so that a fair distribution of what may otherwise be tips or gratuities left for room maids or front desk personnel etc. is made to the entire staff. The total collected is shared by all employees on a points basis where each position is assigned a certain number based on the expertise needed to work in each position, experience, and interaction with our guests. This amount to paid out monthly during the third week of the following month of the collection period.
